Hot on the heels of news that Amazon has snapped the film up for worldwide distribution before the upcoming US presidential election, the Borat sequel's official twitter account – styled to represent Sacha Baron Cohen's character's home country of Kazakhstan, launched a tweet purporting to praise Donald Trump's victory in this week's debate in true Borat style.

Yes, naturally it's all a big joke, but it's still impressive that Baron Cohen has been able to so quickly shoot the movie and get it into shape ready for release. There is, as yet, no information on a director or other filmmakers, but rumour has it the movie is called Borat: Gift Of Pornographic Monkey To Vice Premiere Mikhael Pence To Make Benefit Recently Diminished Nation of Kazakhstan. Is nice! With a proper trailer on the way in the coming days, here's a more standard teaser for the film that finds Borat trying to hit the Coronavirus with a metal pan.

The film itself will hit Amazon's Prime Video service on 23 October.
