With an unmistakable stomp-stomp-clap, the new trailer for Freddie Mercury biopic Bohemian Rhapsody has arrived — once again featuring a niftily-edited montage of classic Queen melodies and showing off some energetic concert sequences, the band’s early days, and the origins of those hits.

The new trailer sees the band ‘get experimental’ in the studio, record multiple "Galileo!"s for ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, and craft the perfect beat for audience participation in ‘We Will Rock You’. There’s also a little more of Mercury’s private life, including a glimpse at his same-sex relationships — conspicuously absent from the first teaser. Rami Malek still looks like an inspired choice for the lead role, donning plenty of different stage get-ups and getting his chops around that unique accent.

Bohemian Rhapsody is heading to UK cinemas on 24 October. It was recently revealed that Bryan Singer will receive sole directing credit for the film, though he left the production mid-way through with Dexter Fletcher stepping in to wrap up the shoot.
