Ice Cube and Thomas Hayden Church are rebuilding Mr Blandings house.
The classic 1948 comedy Mr Blandings Builds his Dream House is getting a touch of the re-imagining brush from director Steve Carr.
Cube is taking over the Cary Grant role of Blandings, who discovers that the fixer-upper he’s bought, is turning into a nightmare. Church will co-star as Chuck, the contractor brought in to help remedy the situation.
Hank Nelkin has written the remake, which plans to start filming in May in New York.
