Sisterhood Of The Travelling Pants co-star Blake Lively has found a new starring role.
She’s replacing fellow Travelling Pants cast member Amber Tamblyn in Elvis And Annabelle, the story of a beauty queen who drops dead on stage shortly after winning the title of Miss Texas. She miraculously comes back to life on the embalming table and falls in love with Max Minghella’s mortuary attendant. If that doesn’t put the darkness back into romantic comedy, we’re not sure what does.
Will Geiger’s directing the film, which has just started shooting in Texas. Lively will next be seen in the Universal college comedy Accepted, alongside Dodgeball’s Justin Long.
