Blair Witch creators Dan Myrick and Eduardo Sanchez are planning to make their next project a comedy. The pair told entertainment bible Variety that their next film will be Heart of Love, a raucous laughathon they describe as 'Monty Python meets Airplane'. They added that they're keen to avoid being 'pigeonholed as horror directors because it's not our forte', though they will be on hand for the next Blair Witch film as executive producers.
But Blair fans needn't despair just yet - Dan and Ed will be writing and directing the Witch prequel which will be set in colonial times when Elly Kedward first demonstrated her dastardly powers to the good people of Blair.
