Dan O’Bannon, beloved by horror and sci-fi fans for penning Alien and Total Recall (we’ll glide past the fact he wrote the story for Alien Vs Predator) is back – and he’s looking to hop into the director’s chair for the first time since 1992’s The Resurrected.
He’s developing a sci-fi thriller called They Bite. There’s no word on what the plot is about, but we’re going to guess nasty creatures and some sort of dental trauma. O’Bannon had previously been working on the idea as a novel, but obviously got bored of having to write all the other stuff in between the words.
And pub bores take note: They Bite was O’Bannon’s original title for Alien. What goes around, comes around…
