He's already part of the bigger Disney family thanks to landing the part of voicing Timon in the new Lion King. And Billy Eichner is sticking with the Mouse House, joining Anna Kendrick in Christmas comedy Nicole.

Marc Lawrence wrote the script and is calling the shots on the new film, which finds Kendrick as Santa Claus' daughter, Nicole. She's content to be just part of the famous Christmas lineage, but when he retires and her brother gets cold feet just before his first Christmas Eve flight, she's forced to take over the family business.

Eichner's role has yet to be announced, though we could see him as a cranky worker at the North Pole, or even that panicky brother. Lawrence will start cranking the cameras this autumn for a planned 8 November, 2019 release. As for the latest Lion King, that'll be seen a little earlier, heading for a 19 July slot that year.
