Billy Bob Thornton’s as rude as ever in the red band Bad Santa 2 trailer

UPDATE: The UK version of the new teaser, which a more family-friendly affair (assuming you can ever say that about Bad Santa) is also now online. Find it at the bottom of the page.

The original is a yuletide comedy classic of bad taste and worse behaviour. So it's perhaps surprising that Bad Santa 2 would have taken more than a decade to arrive. Still, here's the new trailer for the movie, which we'd caution contains all the rude words, violence and nudity you might expect... nay, demand.

Billy Bob Thornton is back as booze-addled con man Willie Soke, still dressing up as Father Christmas and just as sick of the kids who insist on sitting on his knee as ever. Though it might seem like he's out of the criminal life, all that changes when he teams up once again with old cohort Marcus (Tony Cox), who has a plan to rob a Chicago charity run by Diane (Christina Hendricks). Things get more complicated when Willie learns that the brains behind the scheme is none other than his mother, Sunny (Kathy Bates).

And then there's The Kid, AKA Thurman Merman (Brett Kelly), all grown up and hoping Willie will deliver on promises made years ago.

With Mark Waters taking over the directorial duties for this one, Bad Santa 2 will be out here on November 25, just in time to make some people complain it's too early for a Christmas film.
