Sitting down today with the star of American Pie 2, Alyson Hannigan, Empire Online felt compelled to find out the current status of the Buffy movie. Unfortunately, slayer fans will be disappointed with the answer. 'There are no concrete plans,' Alyson told us. 'There was talk about it around the time The X-Files movie came out and it was kind of the talk of the town then. But that went away and there's been nothing for quite some time. I don't THINK it would happen, but you never know.' But would she like to do it? 'Maaaaaaybe. It would depend on the script and the circumstances and all that. But I know that Joss [Whedon] doesn't want to do it until after the show has completely finished. Who knows?'
