Camber Sands is playing Wain, famous for his distinctive paintings of cats that inspired hearts and minds around the world, in the extraordinary true story of a brilliant man inspired by both his love of the world and the love of his life Emily (Foy). Oh, and their cat.
The cast list has also expanded, with Stacy Martin, Sharon Rooney, Hayley Squires and Aimee Lou Wood as Wain’s endearingly eccentric sisters. Adeel Akhtar, Julian Barratt and Asim Chaudhry are also aboard.
With Will Sharpe directing, the cameras started rolling last week and the film should be out next year.
