Never one to let some free time go to waste, even in the midst of a pandemic, writer/director Ben Wheatley shot a new horror movie, and with the film announced as a premiere at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival next month, a brief, trippy teaser has arrived.
In The Earth has Joel Fry, Ellora Torchia, Hayley Squires and Reece Shearsmith in the cast, while the he story is set in a world beset by a disastrous virus A scientist and park scout venture deep into the forest for a routine equipment run, and through the night, their journey becomes a terrifying voyage through the heart of darkness, with the forest coming to life around them.
It's not much to go on yet, but it's certainly atmospheric. Neon has the film in the US, but we don't yet know when it might hit cinemas.
