While we’re sure their motives are pure and entirely based around making the best comedy possible, we can help but stroke our chins at Ben Stiller and Jonah Hill planning to work together on an “island-set comedy” called Aloha. If you ask us, it sounds like a plan for a fun working holiday in Hawaii, though that isn’t stopping Fox from circling the idea.

Shawn Levy, who has recently put the pair together for suburban alien comedy The Watch (set to arrive here on August 24), is producing and possibly directing the new film, which is being kept under wraps for now.

But according to the Hollywood Reporter, the company is looking to get Nicholas Stoller (no stranger to Hawaii after co-writing and directing Forgetting Sarah Marshall) to work on a script based on an idea by Stiller and Hill (interesting... there go our suspicious minds again!)

Right now, it’s still all in development and will depend on everyone’s busy schedule.
