Earlier this week, we told you of the Farrelly brothers’ plan to remake both Francis Veber’s The Valet and the 1972 Neil Simon-penned comedy The Heartbreak Kid.

Now comes word that Ben Stiller – who worked with them on There’s Something About Mary – has agreed to star in Seven Day Itch, their update of the latter romantic laugh-fest.

Stiller will play a man who thinks he’s found the perfect woman, until he meets another while on his honeymoon. But they’ll have to wait for him – he’s currently busy on Night At The Museum and will then jump onto clone comedy Used Guys, for director Jay Roach.
