The star of Guy Ritchie's latest project, Swept Away has apparently been having a less than easy time during his more intimate scenes with Madonna. While we couldn't blame you for being a tad unsympathetic to Adriano Giannini's plight, being asked to indulge in a little S&M with Ritchie's missus seems to have left the Italian actor feeling somewhat uncomfortable. Giannini said he was filled with loathing when he was asked to slap the musical icon around in love scenes between their characters, stranded together on a Mediterranean island. "It didn't come easy for me to slap a woman," said Giannini, "especially someone I had grown up listening to. When I first slapped her, she thought it wasn't violent enough and told me to hit her harder." While the actor clearly felt uncomfortable mistreating Madge in front of her husband, the author of Sex had no such reservations. "On another occasion, I was asked to humiliate her by making her bark like a dog. It got a bit masochistic but she's good. She's very professional. She's as tough as a lizard and should be made into a belt, bag and boots" High praise indeed.
