The Battle of Wounded Neck

Many people have spoken up to voice doubts about the legitimacy of Jim Carrey's claimed neck injury sustained during the making of Man on the Moon, the Andy Kaufman biopic, saying it smacks rather to much of a publicity stunt. For example, The New York Post said, "The injury left some feeling as if Carrey's injury was nothing but a publicity stunt." Carrey has denied this, saying through his publicist, "This is not a publicity stunt. It was a scene that went a little too far." World Wrestling Federation chairman Vince McMahon got in on the act, saying "There is always a chance of an injury when anyone steps into a wrestling ring with a WWF Superstar." Shyeah, right... you could bust a gut laughing.
