Alec Baldwin was found to be guilty of negligence by a jury in the court case brought about by photographer Alan Zanger. Zanger claimed he had lost $200,000 in earnings due to injuries and emotional distress caused by a scuffle outside the actor's home in 1995. Baldwin claimed the photgrapher was impinging on his private life - he was returning home with his wife, Kim Basinger, and new baby at the time. The court ordered Baldwin to pay $6,000 in damages, but found the photographer partly responsible, so cut the amount to $4,500.
