Wrong Munich discs sent to judges

Whoops. UIP has admitted that a technical error has meant that BAFTA members had been sent dodgy copies of Steven Spielberg's latest, Munich, that not all were able to view. BAFTA judges will now not see the film until at least January 27, when it arrives in cinemas.

Unless, that is, the judges owned Region-Free DVD players, as the discs they were sent were in US format. "There was a technical problem, someone pushed the wrong button," Premier PR’s Sara Keene told Variety.
