There are two types of David Tennant performance. He’s still firmly in baddie mode for new thriller film Bad Samaritan playing Cale, a sinister sadist with a dark secret locked away in his house. Opportunistic burglar Sean (played by Misfits star Robert Sheehan) finds more than he bargains for when he breaks into Cale’s abode, putting himself right in the crosshairs. Bad Samaritan is directed by Dean Devlin, the creator of Independence Day, and UK audiences will be able to find out exactly what secrets Cale is hiding when the film hits cinemas on 24 August.
