How do you cope with the suicide of a friend? If you’re the member of the group of rich kids in Death Club, you start testing the limits of death to feel what it means to be alive.

Director James Merendino, best known for making SLC Punk and last seen behind the camera for schlock horror Evil Remains, will direct the film in a naturalistic dogme style in Buenos Aires.

"They attempt to experience life by experiencing the act of death, and it all spirals out of control," Merendino told Variety. Something called the Death Club spiralling out of control? Get away.

Argentine actress Dolores Fonzi and French actor Geoffroy Lickel have signed up for the film, which has a three-week shoot planned to start this month.
