Aziz Ansari, the stand-up comedian who scored stand-out bit-parts in Scrubs, Funny People and I Love You, Man and has recently been starring alongside SNL's Amy Poehler in Parks & Recreation, is in talks to star in 30 Minutes or Less, the next comedy from Zombieland's Ruben Fleischer.

The plot, as described by the Hollywood Reporter{ =nofollow}, revolves around a history teacher and a pizza delivery man who are strapped into bomb vests and forced to rob a bank. Why and by whom? No idea, but we'll be sure to tell you when we know. What is clear is that Ansari is on for the teacher role, with the pizza boy widely expected to take the shape of Eastbound & Down's Danny McBride.

Michael Diliberti and Matthew Sullivan's script was on that there Hollywood Blacklist of hot unproduced scripts. But it won't be unproduced for much longer, as a summer shoot is pencilled in. Expect to see more of Ansari in the near future too: he's in Get Him to the Greek, and apparently has "several comedies lined up" at Universal, with his MTV / Human Giant buddy Jason Woliner, and a certain Judd Apatow.
