Holding firm to a resolutely cryptic approaching to promoting the film, the new teaser – it's really not long enough to be called a trailer – for Antebellum continues to entice interest in the film, Watch Janelle Monáe deal with the past and the present merging in the new footage.
Monáe here plays successful author Veronica Henley, who finds herself trapped in a horrifying reality and must uncover the mind-bending mystery before it’s too late. And that's about it for the official synopsis - what we have here is another look at Monáe's character, who is seemingly whisked off to slavery-era America while the past invades the present and hallucinations abound.
We're definitely intrigued to see more of the film, which comes from writer/directors Gerard Bush and Christopher Renz. All being well, it'll be out in the UK on 24 April.
