New Line clearly hasn’t given up on the idea of shepherding long-gestating pot-smuggling comedy We’re The Millers onto screens. The latest names linked to the script are Jennifer Aniston and Jason Sudeikis.

First announced back in 2006 when Steve Buscemi was lined up to star,** We’re The Millers** has been stuck in development trafficever since. Directors including Peter Cattaneo and Burr Steers have come and gone and the script, originally by Wedding Crashers writers Steve Faber and Bob Fisher, has gone through numerous drafts.

With** Dodgeball**’s Rawson Thurber now in the director’s chair, the basic concept remains the same: Sudeikis would play a pot dealer who recruits a fake wife (Aniston, as a prostitute) and two kids (juvenile delinquents) to pose as a family so he can smuggle 1000 pounds of weed cross country in an RV.

If they both sign on, it would mark a reunion for the pair, who last worked together on Horrible Bosses. Aniston is also attached to star in an untitled comic heist thriller with Justin Theroux directing.

Sudeikis, regularly to be found starring on Saturday Night Live, will next be seen cinematically in **The Campaign **alongside Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis. He’s also attached to Relanxious, which will co-star Olivia Wilde.
