Already boasting the likes of Game Of Thrones' Lena Headey and Guardians Of The Galaxy's Karen Gillan, action triller Gunpowder Milkshake is adding to its cast. Angela Bassett is the latest to join the team.
Aharon Keshales and Navot Papushado will co-direct the movie, working from a script they co-wrote with Ehud Lavski. While the story is mostly still being kept under wraps, it'll chronicle hired killers, following multiple generations with Gillan as the cornerstone of the plot. We do at least know what Bassett will be up to, as she's landed the role of Anna May, one of the keepers of a massive armoury.
Studiocanal and The Picture Company are backing the movie, but there's no word on when it'll kick off shooting. Bassett is a regular on US TV drama 9-1-1 and will be seen in indie comedy Otherhood.
