Andrew Adamson knows a thing or two about fantastical cities, having brought the world the first two Shrek and Chronicles Of Narnia movies. Now he’s locking down another, signing on to direct Fountain City.
Lightstream Pictures is handing over $100 million to finance the CG/live-action hybrid film, which will be written by Joby Harold, who developed the story with Adamson.
And just what will that story be? Adamson isn’t telling. From the sound of it, we reckon it’ll take place in a city that probably has a fountain. Yeah, we’ve earned our Special Detectives badge with that one. Emphasis on the special.
