Warners have decided that werewolves are the new vampires. Together with the Initial Entertainment Group, the studio has bought the Kit Whitfield novel Bareback – released in the US as Benighted - for Narnia director Andrew Adamson to develop.
"Andrew has the vision to turn this into an amazing film," Initial owner Graham King told Variety. "His expertise will elevate this mystical world of werewolves and humans." The book chronicles a world where 90% of the population is a werewolf and the full moon sees chaos on the streets unless the rest of the population and maintain order.
