Will Ferrell’s basketball coach has found his star player for the new hoops comedy Semi-Pro.
Outkast’s Andrew Benjamin has joined the team for the film, which will see a lacklustre former National Basketball Association player return to his team as a coach to try and find some redemption.
Benjamin’s the star of the team, though he’s also a man more interested in being a playa than a player. With Woody Harrelson also shooting hoops (proving once more than white men can actually jump), the film will shoot early next year. Will it score? We’ll see.
