Amber Tamblyn Stuck In A Blackout

Amber Tamblyn has clearly not had her fill of being scared following The Grudge 2. Let’s hope she’s also not claustrophobic, because she’s about to spend 24 hours in a hospital lift for the indie thriller Blackout.

Ed Dougherty and Valerio Morabito’s script finds three people trapped in the machine when the hospital loses power. They include Tamblyn as a young woman trying to visit her dying grandmother, Aiden Gillen as a doctor turned psychopathic killer and Armie Hammer as a teenager who wants nothing more than to run away with his girlfriend. We’re not sure how they’ll derive terror when everyone is about five feet away from each other – perhaps someone has chronic BO?

Provided he can fit in the lift, Rigoberto Castaneda starts directing the movie next month in Spain.
