Marc Webb and his Amazing Spider-Man sequel team are racing towards a proposed February start for the new movie. So naturally they’ve been gathering cast members to support Andrew Garfield’s Peter Parker and Emma Stone’s Gwen Stacey. Shailene Woodley seems to be a lock for Mary Jane Watson and so the focus has turned to Harry Osborn, with Chronicle’s Dane DeHaan and more in contention.

The Hollywood Reporter has heard that the Osborn role was originally to be portrayed as more of a jock-type character. But the angle has switched to a darker, edgier type.
