The Weinstein Co is getting Lovewrecked.
The company has bought distribution rights to the recently completed romantic comedy. The story follows a teenager (Amanda Bynes) who is thrown off a cruise ship with her favourite rock star (Chris Carmack). They wash up on what appears to be a deserted island, but is, in reality, close to the resort where she works. She hides this fact and love blooms. Also starring are The Sopranos' Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Jonathan Bennett.
