Spanish Director Pedro Almodovar thought he had found the perfect place at an after show party to stash his BAFTA trophy for Best Actor - behind Mick Jagger's chair. But the bag containing the famous bronze face was spotted by a drunken salesman at the party who couldn't resist the temptation. 'I noticed this bag with a bronze face looking up and me and realised it was one of the awards,' guest Tony Blain told the Sun. 'I showed it to friends and one egged me on to take it...I don't know what came over me.' When the hapless salesman sobered up the next morning and noticed the BAFTA sitting on his mantelpiece in his North London flat he called the newspaper who arranged for the trophy to be reunited with its winner.
