John Goodman and Lauren Graham have joined the Bruce Almighty sequel, Evan Almighty.
The film, which is already shooting, stars Steve Carrell as Evan, who returns from the 2003 film. This time, he’s into politics, with Goodman as a congressman who takes him under his wing. But then Evan gets an audience with God (Morgan Freeman again) who tells him to build an Ark in preparation for a great flood. Lauren Graham is playing Evan’s wife.
Also returning from Bruce are writer Steve Oedekerk and director Tom Shadyac, but there's no Jim Carrey this time around.
