There’s yet another new video game adaptation in town.

Dimension will release the freshly filmed DOA: Dead Or Alive. Based on the best-selling game fighting game franchise, the film stars Devon Aoki, Matthew Marsden, Jaime Pressly, Eric Roberts and Australian singer Holly Valance.

Shot in China by Transporter 2 director Corey Yuen, the film is planned for an autumn 2006 release. There’s no word on plot, but given the source material, expect plenty of martial artistry.
