BAM! CRASH! BOOM! Sorry about that, folks. We've just been watching the new Internet-only trailer for Paul W.S. Anderson's Alien vs Predator - AvP for the funkier of y'all - and our ears are still ringing. Anderson has promised that this will emulate the first movies in both franchises with a long, slow, atmospheric build-up, before exploding into tense action. Clearly, trailers don't do slow, and atmospheric - because this thing is wall-to-wall action. Hence our ringing ears. And, it has to be said, it looks pretty good fun. There are humans in there, and even some dialogue, but what you really want to see is Alien/Predator smackdown time, and we get that in abundance - from a cool shot of a Predator casually catching an airborne facehugger, to an irate Alien Queen giving chase, to a huge explosion at the end, this promises to be pretty heavy on the action front. Which is nice. But don't take our word for it - check out the latest Hollywood monster mash here. Whoever wins... we're saying it's got to be better than Freddy vs. Jason. Right? Click here
