The casting for Sony's Kraven The Hunter continues apace as, mere days after Ariana DeBose landed one of the leads, The Many Saints Of Newark's Alessandro Nivola is joining the movie.
And while the character of Kraven (to be played in this film by Aaron Taylor-Johnson) is traditionally an antagonist who causes trouble for Spider-Man in particular, it sounds like Nivola will be the villain of this film. Which does make us wonder which direction director JC Chandor is taking the main character.
Russell Crowe and Fred Hechinger are also in the ensemble for this one, which has a script that has seen work from Art Marcum & Matt Holloway, and Richard Wenk.
Kraven will kick off shooting soon as it has a 13 January, 2023 release date already pencilled in.
