John Malkovich and Bruce Willis are singing a Texas Lullaby. They’ll star together in the contemporary adaptation of Hamlet, which is set in Lamarque, Texas – the sister city to Elsinore, Denmark.

Willis will play Cletus, a man who dies suddenly, only for his wife (Ellen Barkin) to marry his brother, local sheriff Tanner Telmah (Malkovich). Young Adair Telmah must figure out what really happened to his father, even as dad returns in spectral form to claim that Tanner murdered him. In the spirit of Hamlet, Adair must also battle his own personal demons, including Opal Coals (Alison Lohman), his unstable girlfriend.
