Al Pacino: Nazi hunter? It's a concept that powers the new Amazon TV series Hunters, which comes from creator/producerDavid Weil and has Jordan Peele as one of its executive producers. Check out the full first trailer for the show.

Pacino's Meyer Offerman is more of a Nick Fury type guiding his team than running around himself, and Hunters follows a diverse band of Nazi hunters living in 1977 New York City. They've discovered that hundreds of high-ranking Nazi officials are conspiring to create a Fourth Reich. The eclectic team will set out on a bloody quest to bring the Nazis to justice and thwart their new genocidal plans.

The series also stars Logan Lerman, Jerrika Hinton, Josh Radnor, Kate Mulvany, Tiffany Boone, Greg Austin, Louis Ozawa Changchien, Carol Kane, Saul Rubinek, Dylan Baker and Lena Olin.

Alfonso Gomez-Rejon directed the pilot and also produces, and the tone seems to be one of gloomy determination, spiced with Pacino's gruff, knowing take. The 10-episode first season will launch on Amazon's Prime Video service next year but hasn't set a specific date yet.
