Adam Arkin has signed on to star in A Serious Man, the latest movie from Joel & Ethan Coen.
Arkin who, of course, is the son of Alan, has joined Michael Stuhlberg and Richard Kind in the dark Sixties-set comedy, which is currently shooting in Minnesota. Given that the Coens appear to specialise in turning actors into Oscar-magnets, perhaps Arkin Jr. can realistically harbour hopes of matching his dad’s golden haul.
And that’s pretty much all we know about the addition of Arkin, or all the Coens will allow people to know. They’re Serious Men when it comes to keeping plots under wraps, the Coens.
Rest assured, though, that the minute we know, you’ll know. Or, at the very least, you’ll know the minute after we know. Or, if we can’t get to a keyboard, you might know the day after. But that’s it. Promise.
