According to Carl Jung's theory of the collective unconscious, there are no new ideas in the world. Rather all creative endeavours are simply archetypal motifs, expressions of the universal primordial images hardwired into our brains. All of which means that we shouldn't be at all surprised by Adrenaline, a film that displays more than one or two familiar ideas. The film marks the directorial debut of Simon Crane (Who he? Why the second unit director on Troy and Terminator 3 of course) and revolves around an FBI agent who infiltrates a band of surfers to solve a string of heists
