Aside from a few hints dropped by Colin Trevorrow and incoming director Juan Antonio Bayona, we don't know a lot about what will be part of the Jurassic World sequel. But we have at least now learned who will be joining Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard on screen: The Get Down's Justice Smith.

After providing a charismatic core for Baz Luhrmann's pricey, '70s-set and music-filled Netflix series, Smith will be part of the cast alongside returning characters Owen Grady (Pratt) and Claire Dearing (Howard) as the story expands further. Could the dinosaur mayhem go beyond the island? Well, it has before, so...

Trevorrow wrote the script with Derek Connolly, but so far no one is saying anything solid about the story. Still, we know one element that will be addressed: the matter of Claire's footwear. After criticism of having Howard run around in high heels, Trevorrow posted a cheeky Twitter picture aimed at Howard showing sensible boots...

Pre-production is in full swing and shooting should happen in Hawaii and the UK this coming spring.
