As his solo film approaches with the speed of one of those nifty Wakanda shuttles, Marvel's Black Panther is everywhere, including on the cover of the latest Empire. The new TV spot for the movie has arrived, boasting some fresh footage that is A) typically great and B) is also best skipped for those who want to experience it all only when the film itself arrives.

The film, of course, finds Chadwick Boseman's T'Challa facing up to taking over throne of his country, following his father's death in Captain America: Civil War. He's facing threats from within and without as Michael B. Jordan's Eric Killmonger in particular stakes his violent claim to rule.

Thankfully there are the likes of Danai Gurira's Okoye, Lupita Nyong'o's Nakia and Letitia Wright's Shuri on T'Challa's side, skilled in battle and gadgets.

As has becoming seemingly de rigueur for big films, director Ryan Coogler has shot several of the movie's scenes specifically for IMAX, ready to fill the screen even further with Panther action.

Featuring the likes of Forest Whitaker, Angela Bassett, Andy Serkis and Martin Freeman in the cast, Black Panther is due in the UK on 13 February, ahead of a 16 February release in the States.
