If you threw Shaun Of The Dead, La La Land and just a pinch of Buffy into a magi-mix, you might just come up with something like Anna And The Apocalypse, which has been impressing festival-goers with its blend of catchy tunes and catastrophe-driven violence. A new, more "extreme" (a little more horror) trailer is now online.

Anna And The Apocalypse stars Ella Hunt as the titular Anna, who is eagerly awaiting the end of high school, small-town life. But she's got more than that on her mind when she wakes up to discover it's the end of the world.

She doesn't love it, and with the help of some friends, must make it back to her family before it's too late. All the while singing and dancing through undead chaos.

John McPhail directed this one, with a script by Alan McDonald and Ryan McHenry and songs from Roddy Hart and Tommy Reilly. It'll hit both the US and UK on 30 November.
