On first impressions, the debut Narnia game is a brainless brawler just like every other derivative movie cash-in cranked out by greedy developers since the dawn of gaming. Delve deeper, though, and theres addictive action for players of all ages.
Taking liberties with C. S. Lewis tale, The Lion follows the storys four siblings as they cross Narnia. Solving puzzles and battling enemies along the way requires using the quartets unique powers Lucy is tiny enough to crawl through small gaps, for example but as new abilities can be purchased, the action rarely becomes dull.
Best of all, though, two gamers can play the game simultaneously and team up to unleash devastating attacks, making for an energetic cartoon romp.
