If you took all of Wes Anderson's previous films, stuck them in a large saucepan and simmered them overnight, the concentrated Anderson-iness left in the pan come morning would look a lot like The Grand Budapest Hotel. Don't believe us? Sample these two new clips from the film.

brightcove.createExperiences();The story is a multi-layered affair, with an author (Tom Wilkinson) related a story he was told in his younger days (when he was Jude Law) by a mysterious tycoon (F. Murray Abraham). That story focuses on hotel concierge M. Gustave H (Ralph Fiennes) and his new lobby boy Zero (Tony Revolori), and the antics that ensue when an elderly client (Tilda Swinton) bequeaths a valuable painting to Gustave. Cue farcical mishaps, the prison scene you see here, and a nascent love affair between Zero and local baker Agatha (Saoirse Ronan).
