Stoker Trailer Arrives Online

Whatever you expected a film written by Prison Break’s Wentworth Miller to look or sound like, chances are you won’t be quite prepared for Stoker. Because, based on the evidence of this first trailer, Miller’s script has, in the hands of Park Chan-wook, turned out to be something twisted and compelling. Take a look above and head to Apple for the HD version.

Stoker finds India (Mia Wasikowska) dealing with the fallout of her father’s death in a car accident. Her cold, emotionally unstable mother Evelyn (Nicole Kidman) begins a relationship with India’s uncle, Charlie (Matthew Goode). At first he appears charming and mysterious, but soon India comes to realise that he’s a lot more than that – for both good and ill.

Slowly but surely, India and Charlie grow closer. And that’s when the real horror begins.

This one promises some great work from the three leads and certainly as a stylish, creepy air about it thanks to Chan-wook’s handiwork, here applied to his first English language film. The poster for the film is also online and you check it out below.

As for the film itself, it’ll arrive on March 1 next year.
