Spider-Man: Homecoming

We had the first couple of trailers drop back in December, and this week brought some rather cool NYC-heavy posters – and now today brings further bounty in a brand new Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer. Take a look below.

The trailer shows off the full potential of Peter Parker's new StarkTech suit, loaded with vacuum-pack sealing technology, gliding wings, and magic little flying spider robots, by the looks of it.

We also get a better look at Michael Keaton's Adrian Toomes – aka classic Spidey villain Vulture, who battles the web-slinging hero with his mechanical wingsuit. Birdman, this ain't.

Tom Holland (no, not the director of Fright Night, how many times do we have to....) is back in the Spidey Suit after his winning MCU debut in Captain America: Civil War, and he's joined for the ride by senior Avenger Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), whose Iron Man suit will be in the thick of the action.

Jon Watts is in the director's chair, shepherding a cast that includes Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, and Tony Revolori, with Marisa Tomei back as Peter's Aunt May.

Spider-Man: Homecoming swings into cinemas on July 7, 2017, which should give us plenty of time to come up with better spider-related wordplay than "swings into cinemas".
