He's always a man in demand, but we're beginning to wonder if prolific composer Michael Giacchino's family is having to make do with a Life Model Decoy – he's revealed that he's landed another job, working on Spider-Man: Homecoming.

It'll mark Giacchino's second foray into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, albeit a more tangential one than his last job on Doctor Strange. Tom Holland's Peter Parker and his super-powered alter ego is certainly part of the MCU, but the new solo film will see Giacchino working for both Sony and Marvel.

Of course, now we're excited for what we predict will be another memorable score from the composer (imagine the Spider-Man theme riffs he could spin!) and the level of puns that the friendly neighbourhood wall-crawler will allow him to deploy.

The Oscar-winner has also recently worked on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which will be with us on 15 December. Spider-Man: Homecoming, meanwhile, is out on 7 July next year.

Michael Giacchino replaces Alexandre Desplat on Rogue One.
