The delightful black-and-white Noah Baumbach movie **Frances Ha **goes head-to-head with James Mangold's summer blockbuster The Wolverine this weekend, and so, as you'd expect, the two directors duke it for supremacy in his week's Empire Podcast. Mangold does have one clear advantage, though: Hugh Jackman's in his corner. Gulp.
As well as interviews with all three of those fine upstanding movie-making gentlemen, there are in-depth conversations about how a Wonder Woman movie might work, who is the best king in cinema (definitely worth a longer thought than you're giving it there), and how anyone's going to make a Freddie Mercury biopic now Sacha Baron Cohen is out of the picture.The answer? With great difficulty.
So for all that and more, get thee to a pair of headphones and a generic mp3 player that can access the internet in some fashion, and be quick about it!
