Ok, you know the drill by now. A crack commando unit, arrested for a crime they did not commit, escape from a maximum security stockade and disappear into the Los Angeles underground, where they pass the time puffing on cigars, standing up for the little man, and building rockets out of pieces of draining and strawberry laces.
Except they don't, because Joe 'Smokin' Aces' Carnahan's straight-faced reboot of The A-Team is swapping ham for slam, stripping the Saturday teatime staple of the jokey in favour of full-bore action and mid-air tank battles. The stony faces adorning the quad poster below should give a further clue of the tone Carnahan's pitching for.
That A-Teamsheet is full: Liam Neeson (John "Hannibal" Smith), Bradley Cooper (Templeton "Faceman" Peck), Rampage Jackson (BA Baracus) and Sharlto Copley ("Howlin' Mad" Murdoch). Patrick Wilson will be chasing the boys down as Colonel Lynch.
