New ParaNorman... Newspaper?

This is, admittedly, an oddity. But here for your viewing pleasure is a sneak peek at the world you'll be entering when you see ParaNorman, out on September 14 next year. It is, well, a town newsletter for the small community of Blithe Hollow, home to young Norman (Kodi Smit-McPhee) and his unusual ability to see dead people.

The film looks to have a Burton-esque mixture of weirdness and charm about it, as outcast young Norman becomes the town's only hope when the dead rise and walk the Earth (as you can see below, there's a witch's curse involved). John Goodman voices Norman's crazy uncle Mr Prenderghast, with Anna Kendrick as his cheerleader sister. There are reports from both characters here, as well as a report involving Witchy Weiners which amused us quite a bit.

ParaNorman is directed by Sam Fell and Chris Butler, and also involves witches, ghosts, zombies and deeply stupid grown-ups.
