New Madagascar 3 Trailer Lands

Just last week, DreamWorks Animation began the big push for their 2012 films, showing assembled members of the press scenes from Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted and Rise Of The Guardians. As well as unfinished footage, the company also screened the trailers for both movies in 3D. And with Madagascar 3 set to arrive here in October, the promo we saw is now online for everyone to watch.

Europe’s Most Wanted finds the “zoosters” Alex (Ben Stiller), Marty (Chris Rock), Gloria (Jada Pinkett Smith) and Melman (David Schwimmer) itching to get back to New York. But first, they need to round up both the wayward penguin patrol and chimp duo Mason and Phil. After an incident in a Monte Carlo casino, the animals find themselves on the run from a driven new enemy, Captaine Chantel DuBois, voiced by Frances McDormand.

This motivated animal control expert will stop at nothing to track our heroes down, so they hop aboard a circus train looking to find shelter and possibly an escape route through Europe. What they find is a travelling show in disrepair with depressed animals and ever-decreasing crowds. So against the wishes of stern Russian tiger Vitaly (Bryan Cranston), Alex and co help jaguar Gia (Jessica Chastain), sea lion Stefano (Martin Short) and the other performers find a new angle for the show. Think Cirque Du Soleil…

The latest poster for the movie is also now online, and you can find it below.

Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted lands on October 19.
